title: Curious Cardinals Blog | Ian Fisher
description: Ian Fisher is a college admissions expert at Bright Horizons College Coach with fifteen years of professional experience in higher education. He spent his high school years throwing curve balls and writing political op-eds, his college years delving into Aristotelian ethics and the meaning of Honor, and his graduate studies reflecting on the challenges of American teachers. He is a retired ultimate frisbee player, an active Little League coach, and a die-hard TrailBlazers fan. His counseling practice centers the student voice with a dash of devil’s advocacy, and he makes it his personal mission to clarify the unnecessarily opaque college admission process for each family with whom he speaks.
